It is Harry's second year in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This time he gets away from the Dursleys. But before he does he finds a house elf in his bedroom called Dobby and it says Harry potter must not go to hogwarts this year. But harry says hogwarts is basically my home. But in this story harry flys in a car,gets crushed into a tree , nearly gets killed by giant spiders, Hermione turns in to a cat and Ron gets his wand broken by the whomping willow and all this before harry has to take on Tom Riddle and his pet basilisk.I had watched the movie before i read the book, but the book is so much better than the film. This is because J K Rowling puts more detail in her writing. Now i am reading the seventh book witch is very good .
