Wolf Brother

The story of Wolf Brother is a lovely story. It's a story about a young boy in African times and they had different tribes all named after an animal.

Tokak is part of the wolf clan but he lives alone in the forest with his dad. He doesn't join in with the clan meetings so he has no idea a killer bear is on the loose until it comes for him and his dad. When the bear is coming for his dad, Torak has no idea what is going on until his dad tells him. The Demon bear is rampaging through the forest destroying everything in it's path. A Demon is inside it and with every kill it grows bigger stronger more powerful and at night it is invincible.

Torak is alone his father lying dead, slaughterd by the demon bear his only ally is an orphaned wolf cub.Him and his friend Renn from the raven clan get up to all kinds of amazing things and learned even more about the mysterious soul eaters. Him and Renn do all things that no one else has done they stood up to the demon bear and they learned the deepest secrets of the forest.

This may not be true but as you read it the pages seem to ripple with truth it seems so real. The book is in a collection of books so there is always another amazing story to read after. This book was so enchanting I couldn't put it down for one second. It's a truly amazing book and I thoroughly recommend it.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

The One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish is a book by Dr.Seuss who is very popular children's writer. The pictures are also drawn by him. When I was a child the first book of his that I read was the Cat in the Hat. Which is probably his most popular book. Some people are scared of them but I find them very funny. The way he writes them is fantastic; it can even catch an adult's eye. The pictures and the way they speak are great for young children, but if you try to read it really quickly you get all muddled up. It's almost like he wants adults to like it as much as children. His pictures are very distinctive because he draws them all in the same way but they all  look different. He is very imaginative and creative.

 His drawings are more or less the same but his doesn't use very many colours of the pallet. But he prefers too use the same range of colours. All of the creatures whatever they are, because they are extremly peculiar, are made to look almost human.

Charlottes Web, E.B.White

This is the Charlottes Web book.

Charlottes Web is a wonderful fantasy book. A little girl named Fern saves a little pig from being killed, her father is a farmer who wants to kill the baby because it's a runt. A runt is a baby animal who is smaller than the others and who is shoved to one side by the rest of the family. She takes care of it and called it Wilbur. She cared for it as if it were a baby; it even slept in her bed!

This is Wilbur the adorable baby pig.

But pigs grow like all animals grow and her father doesn't want a full grown pig in the house. So Wilbur has to go off to Fern's Uncle who lives just across the road and who has a free enclosure  in his barn but there Wilbur meets a lot more animals that he has never seen before. Fern visits him every day and reads him stories and keeps him company. One day he makes friends with a lovely spider named Charlotte who would do anything for him. But Fern's Uncle wants to  kill him and eat him for Christmas. Can Charlotte help Wilbur from the smokehouse?

The film doesn't differ much from the book. But I would recommend reading the book first so then you now what will happen. I bought the book in England and I read it in one day I was so intrested in it that I didn't want to put it down. My dad bought the film shortly after because he'd heard me talking about it at home. Thus I have the film and the book and I love them both.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Harry Potter is going to have to get himself ready for another year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. But he needs to get ready more than he thought because a really huge blow is coming his way. Little does he know that a very exciting event will be happening at Hogwarts. The Triwizard Tournemant will be taking place this year. Dumbledore reveals to the whole school what the Triwizard Tournemant is because many (including Harry) have absoloutly no idea what it is. The Triwizard Tournemant is a dangerous Tournemant which consits in two other magical schools coming to Hogwarts. Only seventh years are alowed to do it, it is so dangerous! One champion from each school is selected to attend this. They are selected by a cup called the Goblet of Fire. The champions that are selected are:

Everyone thought that that was it but when Harry's name comes out of the Goblet evey eryone is silenced. And Harry is petrified when he is told he has to compete as the fourth champion. But Harry has no idea that Lord Voldemort is rising again with the help of his best supporter who is currently hiding at Hogwarts but no one knows anything about him. With three highly difficult tasks coming his way Harry needs to work har.But the first one is looming nearer and Harry has no idea what it is. A few strang things are happening at Hogwarts, like why one of the men in charge keep on wanting to help Harry.  

Mossycoat - by Philip Pullman

This book is about a young girl called Mossycoat and her story is very similar to the stories of Cinderella on one hand and Donkey's Skin on the other. Her tale is very much a mix of both those traditional tales and I think that the author of Mossycoat got his ideas from those 2 stories. Philip Pullman has written lots of other books all of whic h are very good. His most famous one I believe is called the Northen Lights.

Doctor Proctor's Fart Powder

It all started a few years ago when Juliette met Proctor on the streets trying to paint a picture of her with a machine he invented. Juliette happened to be a baronette and she and Doctor Proctor were in love. But when she told her father the baron that she had fallen in love with a poor inventor she'd met on the street he was not happy.

Harry Potter is looking for Horcruxes, the soul of lord Voldemort broken into seven pieces and each of them

put into an object that can only be destroyed by a goblin made blade or a Basalisk fang.Harry goes searching for these things intending to destroy them to make Lord Voldemort

weaker.

But when Harry goes back to Hogwarts to try and find another Horcrux Voldemort knows he's there and war was declared on Hogwarts. Just for Harry Potter.

Many were fighting to combat Lord Voldemort.Harry tries as hard as he can

and so do many others.Many creatures come along to join in the fight, like the giant spiders from the forbidden forest and some of Voldemorts giants.Apart from breaking into Gringots Harry hasn't dome anything major.But Voldemort hasn't made anything easy and there were already lots dead and many severely injured.Harry knows that everyone are risking their lives just for him, he can't bear to see people risking their lives just for him.

Whats more he has to find another Horcrux that is in the castle and that doesn't help his troubles.Many more things are going to happen in the battle of Hogwarts but who knows when it will end.

This is my favorite book ever, in fact I love all of the HarryPotter's so much I kept on re-reading them until my dad confiscated them.The Harry Potter books are so huge it must have taken years for J.K Rowling to write such enormous books.Well her years writing them were all for the best because her books are very popular and have brought her lots of money.I hope she doesn't regret it.I love her way of making everything seem mysterious and exciting.So many things happen at once and I love the way she always puts in every little detail about everything.
