The Secret Seven by Enid Blyton

Wow what an adventorous story! The Secret Seven are a children's secret society who hold regular meetings and try to solve mysteries. The Seven have a secret password, a badge, and a secret headquarters in a garden shed. The Seven are led by Peter and include Peter's sister Janet, and their friends Jack, Colin, George, Pam and Barbara. They are joined by their golden spaniel (dog), Scamper. Peter makes the rules as he was the one to get the idea of the society secret seven and gives tasks for the members. The Seven investigate mysteries by interviewing people, and looking for clues. The seven friends always start at the bottom but at last they come stand up tall. In this story Jack losses his badge somewhere outside his parents both work so he has to be taken care by a lady called Miss Ely she is very strict. Miss Ely did not let Jack go outside because of his bad behaviour last night on the dinner table. He was aiming to kick his sister because she was making fun of the secret seven club she says the club is never going to be better so he got really angry Jack kicked her sister but Miss Ely's feet were in the way so he accidently kicked Miss Ely on her anckle. She got really angry and said I will never talk to you. So next day Miss Ely did not let Jack do anything he could not even go outside to get his badge he was worried. Instead he got a great idea he said to himself that why not go late in the night so today instead of wearing pyjamas he wore his gloves, coat and his cap to go outside when he heard the door of Miss Ely's room closing. Jack went outside late night and he found his badge were he was building a snowman with his friends he felt happy. On his way back him he saw two men they were just ordinary men but Jack saw that they were going somewhere that led to nowhere. In a hurry he went home and went to bed. Next morning he wrote a letter to Peter saying that while i was coming back home last night I saw two men they were up to something wrote Jack in the letter he included that Please call everyone for a meeting at 10:00 am. At 10 o'clock everyone was there they were suprised about Jack. They all asked Jack what is thing that you thought the secret seven could solve? He told the the 6 other friends about what happened last night and told them about the two men. The response that Jack gave was: What were these men up to? and they all thought this was a very good thing that the secret society could solve. They all went out that day to look out for different clues. That day after they found all the clues they reoported what all they found about. Looking at the clue's Peter thought that the two men were prisoning someone. So after all they went to the caretaker's house at home all the doors were closed but the window was open. Peter,George,Jack and Pam went into the caretaker's house at night and found a horse in cellar. The two men were prisoning this horse. That night they took the horse with them and told the police saying that A horse was stolen from two men. The policemen were astonished by the work the children did. The seven secret people knew they were the best.

  4. Wow how long did this take you Tanvi Sattar it is so much. I have just done a Book blog now and it is just about the same size as yours though I think yours is a bit more than mine. I have read it before and like you it would be great to be in a Secret Seven. But if me and you both join in I think it would be The Nattering Nine. I think the Nattering Nine is a funny name. Do you Tanvi?
