The Hungry Caterpillar

The very hungry Caterpillar is a baby's book but lots of people like it. Eric Carle is the first person to put holes in his book.

    I really like Eric Carle's illustrations. He has a very original way of making them, using painted tissue paper that he puts on in layers. I've been discussing Eric Carle with Y2 and they have read lots of books by him. Just this week I read 'Brown Bear' with my children at home.
