Gregor the Overlander

This is a great book. It has no pictures but it doesn’t need any because of all the fantastic descriptions, I can even picture myself in the setting the characters are in. This book should be read by anyone who is too young to read the Hunger Games (it’s by the same author).

This book and illustrations by Benedict Blathwayt has lots of detailed pictures. He uses the whole pallet, from white to black I love these pictures.

I really like this book.

The Invention of Hugo Cabret

This is the train station where he lives
with his Farther.

This book is really nice the pictures are beautiful!

This story is adapted by Kit Wright. It is about a beautiful girl called Isabella. One day when the prince was riding through the forest he sees Isabella and instantly falls in love. It here that all the trouble starts! One day later... She's been captured by the king!!! But why? And can her farther free her in time???

Mr Gum and the Dancing Bear

This book is by Andy Stanton and illustrated by David Tazzyman. The main charitors of this book are Mr Gum*, Billy William the third, Polly, Padlock and Jonathan Ripples. This story is about Polly taking Padlock back to the Kingdom of the Beasts. Sounds easy right but there's poblems on the way, big problems.

This book is really good, it's funny, briliant pictures very easy to read as well.

How to speak dragonese

This book is written by Cressida Cowell. The heroes of this story are Hiccup and his dragon Toothless. Hiccup* is at viking school in a boarding an enemy ship lesson, which is a bad thing for Hiccup and Fishlegs because their boat, "The Hopeful Puffin" has a leak in it !! They got carried by the summer current up to Fort Sinister.

This book is the best I have ever read, it's really funny great jokes, and funny pictures.

How to Twist a Dragon's Tale

This book is written by Cressida Cowell. The heros of this story are Hiccup and his dragon Toothless. Hiccup* is at viking school in a herding reindeer on dragonback lesson when he noticed that a Rogue dragon had burnt the whole hillside. They found out what was happening (I won't tel you but it was something bad). After the thing (a viking meeting) Hiccup, Camicazi and Fishlegs went of on there quest. (Find out if they by reading the book).

I'm loving this book, it's terrific. This series of books are the best I have ever read !!!

How to be a Pirate

This book is written by Cressida Cowell. The heros of this story are Hiccup* and his dragon Toothless, who are in a boat and the boat gets shipwrecked. He also went to the island of skullions (mad because skullions eat people alive !!) to find the treasure of Grimbeard the Ghastly.They also got attacked by outcasts, and got trapped in a cavern with Alvin attacking them. Hiccup came home from the cavern, and all the shutters of every house were closed (because the Hooligan tribe were migerable, because they lost Hiccup and Fishlegs),when someone noticed them they all paraded down the streets. The day later all became normal again.

I very highly recommend this book and the rest of the series because I love the scribbly pictures, and it is really well written.
